MOE'S TAVERN: LEE, MA

Yesterday a friend and I took a random day trip to Lenox, MA. I posted on here to get suggested, and a few people mentioned Moe's.
The theme of 2025 so far seems to be "discovering bars and restaurants that are plopped into the middle of neighborhoods filled with triple decker homes." (This also seems to be a thing that you find a LOT in Worcester.) And this place was no different.
Walking in brought me right back to barhopping in the early 90's (minus the selection of Mich Ultra and red-headed sluts, that is.) It was the best type of find: a bar with zero pretension, an incredible craft beer list, and a relaxed and friendly crowd.
Sometimes you want a $20 craft beer and a $28 cheese plate served to you by a hipster. And sometimes you want simplicity: a place where everyone seems to know each other but immediately welcomes you as well, and an environment that's lively but not so loud the geriatrics can't handle the noise.
It was also perhaps the cleanest dive bar I've ever visited in my life. Even the bathrooms were suspiciously clean.
Definitely a must-visit for fans of dives who find themselves up in that Lenox/Lee area.
